A Weekend at The Griffin House
Guest Comments from CV & CE, Silicon Valley
Inspired by my best friend's description of the North Coast, we came to celebrate. The first thing we noticed is the truly spectacular view. It was a reminder that we are blessed with an embarrassment of natural riches... this place makes one relax. Our weekend was filled with peace, tranquility, and love. The reconnection we sought happened quickly and without fanfare. We drank way too much wine on our deck; nibbled on fruit, fresh bread and brie; listened to the waves crash on the rocks below with the open door and a fire in the stove; and we spoke softly with full hearts and relaxed minds as we drifted off to sleep.

Holiday Lights Parade

Another local favorite holiday event is the Holiday Lights Parade, to be held December 2 at 7pm on the streets of Fort Bragg. Partake in the sparkling festive holiday atmosphere and see the town aglow with lighted vechicles and smiles on every face. Entry fee proceeds will benefit The Kiwanis Toys for Kids program.

Scorpio Party
Bridget Dolan, Staff
The Greenwood Community hosts many events throughout the year. And one of our favorites will be held Saturday Night Nov. 11 starting at 8pm, the annual "Scorpio Party" help by local friends and musicians. The Gatecrashers will go on first, followed by The Al Molan Band from The Bay area. A good time is sure to be had by all! Bring a potluck dish and a friend and come dance!
