Second Friday Dinner in Caspar Aug. 10
Bridget Dolan, Staff
In the footsteps of the increasingly popular fourth Sunday breakfast,
the Caspar Community will be offering an opportunity to dine amongst
friends and neighbors on gourmet, local and organic fare, the second
Friday of each month at the Caspar Community Center. On August 10, the
menu will include a choice of coq au vin (chicken slowly cooked in a red
wine sauce), served over creamy polenta; or a vegan North African summer
vegetable stew served over almond, currant couscous. All meals are
served with a salad of coastal greens, fresh baked bread and dessert.
The price is $20 per person, no reservations necessary. All proceeds go
towards the ambitious goal of building a bigger, better kitchen at the
community center.
