Abundance Festival October 20th
Bridget Dolan, Staff
CELL is once again celebrating our community's agricultural bounty with a Local Abundance Festival on Oct. 20. The day will start with food workshops from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Dinner will begin at 6 p.m. and from 8 to 10 p.m. there will be some music to kick up your heels.
Create a dish to donate to the occasion. And since our localization group is very interested in strengthening community and neighborhood ties, they are trying something a little different this year. You are invited to come together to prepare your contributions in your neighbors' kitchens. This will save resources and space and could be a good time! Two area lead persons: Marty Johnson for the Caspar Area, 964-6164 and Carolyn Barrett 937-0020 for the Albion area. Still being sought are lead people in Westport, Fort Bragg, Mendocino, Little River, and Elk. If you would rather prepare something in your own kitchen, please do so! For more info call 937-0020.
