Grandparents Raising The Children
Bridget Dolan, Staff
Life is full of little surprises. During what they expected to be years of quiet time or retirement, many grandparents find themselves with youngsters in their lives on a full-time basis. They don't get to be the grandparents who spoil the children for a couple of days and then rest up for the next visit. Safe Passage Family Resource Center will host a new support group for grandparents who are full-time caregivers. The first meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 10 from 10 to 11am. Child care will be available. For more info, call 964-3077.
